Software Engineer - Patient Support Services

IQVIA’s COOH includes Patient Support Services (PSS) across our Access and Affordability business lines. IQVIA’s Access team provides all hub services including reimbursement, patient assistance, adherence, and in-home solution support. Our Affordability solutions not only offer the insights and strategic know-how for designing patient affordability and engagement programs, but also the capacity to seamlessly implement, manage, and optimize these programs to drive adherence and maximize the performance.

As a Junior Full-Stack Software Engineer you will design, test, develop, and support a variety of technologies, including C#, JavaScript, RESTful API, React, Node.JS, Ruby and\or Python, Oracle and\or MS SQL Server.

Essential Functions:

Assists with the design/development of software solutions requiring general domain knowledge and limited business experience.

Works at all layers of the application stack including front-end user interface and backend development.

Troubleshoots code issues and evolves IQVIA's platforms to meet user requirements/needs.

Participates in the review of functional specifications and other validation deliverables as assigned.

Develops an introductory understanding of industry and IQVIA-specific quality standards.

Supports small development projects based on specific instructions and with limited discretion.

Typically requires no prior relevant experience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

1 – 3 years’ experience in software development and web technologies.

Experience in object-oriented languages like C#, Java, PHP, Ruby, or Python and the fundamental principles of object-oriented principles.

Experience in website development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. React and NodeJS experience preferred.

Understanding of relational databases and experience with Oracle or MS SQL Server.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $62,300.00 - $103,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
