Software Engineer - Questa Visualizer

We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled software engineer to join the Questa Visualizer Debug R&D team at Siemens EDA. In this role, you will: 

Develop cutting-edge algorithms and software design/architecture for industry-leading debugging tools. 

Contribute to the innovation, development and enhancement of production-quality components, algorithms, and engines while supporting and improving existing codebases. 

Inspire a team of engineers to apply deep knowledge of programming principles into innovative solutions. Coordinate and direct project execution, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities. 

Apply your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality software solutions. 

Stay self-motivated, disciplined, and focused on achieving personal and team goals. 

Should have: 

Experience with conceptualizing, defining, architecting, and implementation of an open-ended problem scope or new ideas. 

Strong proficiency in C/C++, QT, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. 

Experience in designing & building secure/scalable (micro services) based platform 

Experience of generating large database and quick data mining 

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 

Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver results. 

Good to have 

Basic knowledge of Digital Electronics and concepts related to SystemVerilog, Verilog, and VHDL. 

Experience with UI/UX 

Development experience with any cloud technology stacks like AWS, Azure, Google cloud etc. 

Exposure to Simulation or Formal-based Verification methodologies. 

Knowledge of Python, ML based techniques and algorithms 

Education 
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.

The salary range for this position is $87,600 to $157,700 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.  Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
