Role description: As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, your role involves developing and maintaining software to enhance internal efficiency or support client services. You will work collaboratively within a scrum team, contributing to continuous improvement, and deliver on commitments with a high standard of quality and adherence to company standards and procedures. This position requires the ability to work independently and proactively, while also actively mentoring and supervising team members to foster a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must have at least 5 years of full-time relevant experience in software development.

Technical Skills:

Strong technical skills with the ability to write modular, maintainable code. Effective communication within the team and with stakeholders. Leading the design of small to medium projects, incorporating feedback from fellow engineers. Solid understanding of architectural concerns and design principles. Strong Object-Oriented Programming knowledge, including design patterns, architectural patterns, and best practices. Proficient in C#, relational databases, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React. Knowledgeable in DevOps, cloud services such as Azure or AWS. Ability to adapt to different development stacks as necessary.

Code Quality:

Consistently leave the codebase in better condition than before. Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code reliability. Minimize the introduction of production bugs and contribute meaningfully to code reviews.

Accountability:

Be accountable to the scrum team for delivering on commitments and providing mentorship and supervision to Software Engineers and Associate Software Engineers. Manage medium-sized projects independently, demonstrating problem-solving skills and efficiency. Troubleshoot production issues effectively and efficiently.
