A REMOTE Software Engineer (EKL) job is currently available at Belcan. This is a full-time direct position with benefits. To be considered, you will need 2+ years of experience developing and implementing Enterprise Knowledge Language (EKL) scripts to automate checks within the 3DExperience platform. As a Software Engineer specializing in EKL coding, you will play a crucial role in automating checks and processes within the 3DExperience platform.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work will include Enterprise Knowledge Language (EKL) scripting in applications that include but are not limited to Model-Based Definition (MBD).
· Partner with cross-functional teams to execute the following tasks as they relate to EKL scripting within the 3DExperience platform
o Identify opportunities for automation through scripting
o Support use-case identification and documentation
o Develop scripts to automate process steps
o Perform comprehensive testing and validation of code to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency
o Assist customer with code deployment
o Diagnose and resolve post-release issues
o Create and maintain thorough documentation of processes and code libraries for reuse
· Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in EKL scripting
Required Qualifications:
· US Citizenship ONLY
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
· 2+ years experience with the 3DExperience platform, including proficiency in Enterprise Knowledge Language (EKL)
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
· Possess a growth mindset with personal desire to learn and create solutions
· Strong ability to forward think when architecting solutions, embracing new technologies and process changes
· Experience working horizontally across functional organizations such as engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and information technology
· Ability to remotely collaborate with a team of experts based in various locations throughout the US
Desired Qualifications:
· 1+ years experience with Model-Based Definition (MBD) principles and practices.
· Experience/knowledge of Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) application across a variety of part commodities
· Working knowledge of PMI reuse in manufacturing and inspection
· Experience/knowledge of industry standards developed for, or supportive of MBD (QIF, MIL-STD-31000, DMSC, ASME)
· Experience with Lean & Agile practices
· Experience managing culture changes including adoption and resistance to new ways of working in a digital engineering environment
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $93,600 to $114,400.
