Software Engineer Staff

This position requires a software engineer to provide technical leadership to a team and to use a wide application of software principles, theories, and concepts to develop, integrate, and test software products for the F\-22 program\. You will be expected to technically lead in the design, development and integration of middleware software\. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership to a team of engineers through the full software development life cycle producing embedded software\. This role will include interactions with stakeholders \(both internal and external\) in support of the F\-22 warfighter, providing oversight and direction for technical solutions, promoting/leading our Agile development environment and ensuring overall product integrity and quality\. You will be a member of a high\-performing team and must be self\-motivated with a strong work ethic, time\-management, and interpersonal skills\. You must have demonstrated effective pro\-active communication skills as the position will require frequent inter\-organizational and customer interactions\. Must be a US citizen\. This position is at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance updated within the last 5 years to be considered\. **Basic Qualifications:** • Experience with large scale real\-time, embedded software development • Experience with full lifecycle software development \- requirements analysis, software design, coding, unit\-testing, and CSCI integration testing • Team leadership experience • Experience in Agile development as a Product Owner or Scrum Master • Domain Experience: Middleware software, Object\-Oriented Analysis \(OOA\)/Object\-Oriented Design \(OOD\) techniques\. • Language Experience: C, C\+\+, Python, • Experience with Red Hat Linux environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Self\-starter personality with the ability to multi\-task and work will within a team • Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM discipline required • Special Access Clearances will be required Must be a US citizen\.
