Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Remote Technical Publications Developer to support a large aerospace and aviation client. This person will join a Business Operations team responsible for improving and maintaining internal platforms that enable automated publications of technical data of engineering program. Day to day, the ideal candidate will be responsible for hands on development and system support of the technical publication software. This is necessary to improve overall system performance and ensure on-time delivery of releases. This software engineer must have experience with java (version 11) and python programming languages as well as scripting experience with SQL/Oracle. The candidate will participate in the design, building, testing, and implementing of scalable software by writing clean, functional code for front- and back-end applications. A smaller function of the role will involve troublshooting and user access support. Overall, the group works in a hybrid agile environment. Skills and Requirements -5+ years of software engineering experience utilizing Java, Python programming languages -Experience with SQL Scripting or XML programming -Experience with technical publication software (Corena a plus) -Knowledge of project methodologies including experience with Agile/Waterfall software development -Experience with GitHub, JIRA or other code management -Proven front-end development experience with HTML, CSS or Javascript -Familiarity with databases (ex. Oracle, MongoDB) and web servers (ex.
