The Trust & Safety group plays a crucial role in protecting Apple services, customers, and developers from fraud and abuse. As a member of the solutions team, you will be responsible for building and supporting our Trust & Safety regulatory systems on a large scale at Apple.
**Description**
Our capability to quickly build and deploy effective solutions is essential for meeting regulatory requirements and providing our users with a safe and secure platform to report malicious content. You will play a vital role in addressing the growing demands of regulatory obligations worldwide, ensuring that our organization remains compliant while developing a comprehensive and versatile solution. JOB DUTIES INCLUDE FOLLOWING Software Development and Maintenance: - Collaborate with the PM team to understand requirements and ensure regulatory compliance. - Integrate internal tools for enhanced operational efficiency. System Architecture and Infrastructure: - Design and maintain adaptable systems to accommodate regulatory changes. - Act as engineering point of contact for teams within Apple and outside - Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system performance. Security Assurance: - Implement and manage system to uphold security standards. - Ensure software compliance with all audit requirements.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 6 or more years experience working on large-scale, enterprise applications on Java/Scala and related technologies
+ Experience in relational and non-relational database systems
+ Experience in designing and operating highly distributed, scalable and available systems
+ Excellent communication skills to facilitate requirements analysis, articulate design and schedule trade-offs
+ MS or BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

+ Experience in building microservices or event-driven applications from the ground up.

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
