We are looking for a Software UI Engineer to join our IT team in the US, reporting to the manager of IT Cloud Technologies. In this role, you will craft and implement web applications using Angular and various other front-end technologies, catering to both our valued customers and internal team members. What you’ll do:Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using industry best practices is a PlusCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresEnsure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsOptimize applications for maximum speed and scalabilityImplement automated testing to ensure application reliabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new featuresWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient codeParticipate in code reviews, bug fixing, and troubleshootingStay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements to ensure our applications are using the latest features and best practicesWhat you’ll bring:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field2+ years experience in Angular development for modern web applicationsExperience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling is a PLUSExperience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth and JWT is a MustProficiency in using DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, SonarQube, and GitHub, is a PlusFamiliarity with AWS cloud services, including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, ECS, and RDS Understanding of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databasesProven experience with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptFamiliarity with UI/UX design principlesFamiliarity with secure coding practices, an understanding of common web application security principles, and knowledge of backend development technologies, such as Node.js and Express, is preferred What success looks like:After six months, you will…Develop and deploy several feature-rich web applications using Angular and other front-end technologies, enhancing user experiences and effectively meeting customer needsCollaborate closely with the team to optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions across various devices and browsersAfter about a year, you will….Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our front-end development practices, sharing your expertise and insights to elevate the skill set of the team and foster a culture of learning and growth We’ve got you covered: Our holistic benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness—as well as a great work environment, employee programs, and company culture.
