Your Impact
As an analyst in Client Connectivity team, your focus will be on development across our software stack: Global Low Latency FIX engine servers, FIX protocol, support tooling and infrastructure management. You will work with highly talented pool of full stack engineers to design, develop and deploy these systems. You will also get significant exposure to various business flows and collaborate with highly agile cross region development teams & business functions. You will be responsible to own an deliver key OKRs for the Global Markets business. You will also be responsible to train and optionally manage the analysts / associates in the team and provide them a clear engineering and business vision.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
1.5+ years of work experience on Java/LINUX system platforms.Strong development background with experience with Java and at least one other languagesStrong problem solving skills, proficient with data structures and passionate about learning new technologiesStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutionsAbility to multi-task and be effective working in a fast paced environment by enforcing high code quality standards Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and willingness to work in a collaborative global team environment Support production environments, assist in the diagnosis and resolution of incidents, and maintain the stability and integrity of systems Industry experience with Securities trading and FIX protocol is a plusRelevant experience in building low latency systems is a plus ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
