Job purpose
A Software Development intern will be working with our manufacturing team to develop software (backend & frontend) that improve our products data traceability and communicates production metrics for our operations team. The work will consist of database development and interactions, building data collection and traceability of our parts within our facility, and creating visualizations to analyze and display data to our operations team. We use primarily Ignition and SQL Server.
Key responsibilities
Develop visualizations for our production floor that help our operations team track and prioritize componentsImprove traceability of components through the automated and manual assembly linesWork with operators, team leads, supervisors, and engineers to understand all aspects of an issue and provide solutions that meet the needs of all usersCreate reliable and user-friendly programs that can be used successfully by a large variety of users with varied levels of technical knowledgeWhat we’re looking for
Pursuing a degree in data science, computer engineering, computer science, or software engineeringFamiliarity with Python, C++ or Java, & SQL, familiarity with Ignition a plusExperienced and capable in using MS Suite tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Capable of taking feedback from various sources and developing a ground-up solution that solves production issuesWhat we believe
