**Software Engineering Intern**
The **Software Engineering Intern** will contribute to the analysis, design, implementation, and testing of integrated software products, producing high-quality code that supports applications managing the end-to-end testing experience—from registration and payments to test construction, delivery, and business reporting. Interns will apply industry best practices while collaborating with a team of high-performing professionals.

You will gain hands-on exposure to software engineering in a remote work environment, developing skills in programming, advanced testing techniques, and agile development. Additionally, you will be paired with a technology mentor to support your growth and contributions.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Participate in agile team activities, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
+ Develop, test, and debug software components as part of an agile development team.
+ Identify, document, and resolve defects to ensure software quality.
+ Collaborate with engineers, quality analysts, and product managers to solve real-world problems.
+ Gain experience with cloud technologies (Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by managers or leads.
**Qualifications:**
**_Required Education & Experience:_**
+ Completion of at least **sophomore-level coursework** (junior level preferred) toward a **bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Familiarity with at least one programming language ( **Java and/or C# strongly preferred** ).
**_Desired Skills & Abilities:_**
+ Strong desire to learn and expand knowledge in development languages, applications, and tools.
+ Intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly grasp new technologies, processes, and business domains.
+ Experience with databases (MySQL), APIs, or front-end frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear, professional collaboration.
**Salary offer is $23/hr**
