As the Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of innovative digital products as the primary point of contact and accountable for keeping track of multiple launches within multiple work streams. What you will do:
Lead and manage delivery of complex digital products focusing on on-time delivery, dependency identification and managing overall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Attract and develop developers to the local and global teams.Collaborate with business sponsors and product owners to define roadmap/release plan.Provide estimates for cost and effort and assist in validation of business cases.Interface with all levels of management to negotiate project priorities and outcomes.Monitor emerging technology trends in Angular, .Net, and related Microsoft technologies.Envision new technical capabilities and common application components.Define coding standards and implement best practices to ensure quality.Collaborate with architects to define solution development patterns and ensure solution design is aligned with organizational/strategic direction.Mentor and provide coaching resources to developers to build solutions that deliver desired outcomes.Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, reusable, resilient, and performant.Define priorities to refactor solutions and reduce technical debt.Manage interdependencies between internal and external teams/vendors and service providers.Manage risks, issues, change, and dependencies and taking corrective measurements.Monitor key milestones, budgets, and activities for executive level reporting.Course correct and adjust the direction of the program as needed.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience10+ years of experience working with technology solutions in IT industry5+ years of experience leading technical teams including delivery of digital products4+ years of experience working on .Net, Angular or equivalent technology4+ years of experience with Agile delivery methodologies (i.e., Scrum, Kanban)Experience leading Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practicesExperience managing project issues and risks to deliver on-time, on-budget, and on-valueExperience effectively partnering with commercial leaders and key stakeholdersExperience developing digital products with latest technologies.
