Why we need this role The Main objective of this role is to involve in Design, Development and Enhancement of Broadcom (EMC-Smarts) SMARTS application ensuring that all project deliveries are met and the finished product meets or exceeds the customer’s expectation Ensure that all new systems & applications are Designed, Integrated and tested to the highest standards ensuring that all specified requirements are met. What you will do Key projects are delivered in line with OSS roadmap requirements (time / quality / cost) To provide effort estimate of projects and enhancements work from given high level design/specifications. Upgrading Fault monitoring platform and liaising with vendor for Integration of new features Ensure creation and maintenance of relevant documentation such as release notes, code version control, deployment guides to enable the integration to be supported smoothly. Debug reported issues and providing resolutions to internal and external customers/users Identify and Develop potential improvements and Enhancements in applications. Liaise with cross functional teams integrated with Fault Monitoring and other Network management tools Ensure Code Quality checks are done for all Projects and enhancement deliveries Ensure that all costs provided for Impact analyses are as accurate as possible, stand up to scrutiny, are not over-inflated and where information is not available, sensible assumptions are made and communicated/agreed Ensure the requirements are discussed, agreed and documented and then the solution offered is clarified and signed off by stakeholders Ensure that ID delivery methodologies are optimized to best meet the needs of the business Skills Applications System DesignApplications DevelopmentSystem Maintenance and EnhancementSystem Development Life CycleApplications KnowledgeEducation A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or closely related fieldWhat we offer you: Looking to make a mark?
