The Opportunity:

Perform research, design and Software/Firmware development and utilize Electrical Engineering and RF skills in various aspects of wireless communications systems on multiple hardware platforms utilizing Linux and/or Unix-based operating systems. And also be responsible for complex analysis, design, development, integration/testing of software/hardware systems.

Develop design specifications needed to implement, test and document software/firmware solutions for communication systems and/or subsystemsAnalyze, architect, design, implement, test and document software for complex communications systems, including automated testingSupport DevSecOpsOperate effectively and comfortably in an Agile team environment, as a team member and as a team leader as neededUnderstand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policiesProactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to LGS EH&S policies and proceduresPerform other duties as requiredTravel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites as necessaryRetain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position

Active Secret security clearanceBachelors/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering5+ years of related experience, to include engineering and leadership, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experienceIn-depth experience in software engineering and development for communications systems, architectural innovation and technical leadershipBroad experience with the software engineering process from requirements reviews, code inspection to component delivery and sign-offDevelopment experience on multiple hardware platforms utilizing either Linux or Unix-based operating systemsC and Assembly ProgrammingExperience working in both SW and HW domainsAbility to read and understand schematicsLow level debugging techniques (SW, probes, oscilloscopes)CPU Embedded SW programming and developmentMicrocontrollersTI MSP430 or similarExperience developing Microcontroller firmwareExperience debugging Microcontroller FW SW functionalityBootloaders development (U-Boot/GRUB/Barebox) for new ARM/x86 designsHW initializationDevice driversBoot Loader application functionalityHW/SW integration activitiesRF developmentSDR Radio knowledge and actual experienceKnowledge of basic RF concepts and RF AmplifiersTest automation experienceExperience with build/run systems, makefiles, scripting languages, and applied use of development tools (e.g. editors/compliers) and DevSecOpsProven confidence debugging complex system-level issues with various lab equipmentParticipation and leadership in an Agile development environmentKnowledge of Python Programming LanguagePython packaging

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$74,600-$156,700
