Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer to support one of the Navy Submarine community's most important projects, Acoustic Rapid Commercial off-the-shelf Insertion (ARCI). The ARCI program allows the Navy to utilize commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) rugged server and embedded computing technology to make quick periodic upgrades of submarine sonar signal processing capability. This technology will be integrated into ships for the US Navy, Royal Australian Navy, British Navy, Canadian Navy, and several US allies. Engineers will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle.

Work either a 4/10 schedule (every Friday off) or a 9/80 schedule (9-hour days with every other Friday off). The worksite is in Manassas, VA, at a facility that houses over 1000 employees and has a dedicated team of 200 software engineers. This facility includes the only full submarine test lab on the East Coast, allowing engineers to write and test code on a mocked-up submarine. The work can be done in a secure submarine lab or a cubicle desk if preferred. There are formal mentorship programs, and the company runs intramural sports leagues in the evenings, welcoming participation from all employees.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
