Role of an Intern
As a Software Engineer Intern at Intel Corporation, your role involves working with a team of experienced engineers on cutting-edge deep learning projects. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing math kernels using MLIR on hardware accelerators, with a focus on improving the performance and efficiency of deep learning algorithms.
Areas of Responsibility
Throughout your internship, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of deep-learning tasks, including:
Developing and optimizing math kernels for hardware accelerators, with a focus on performance and efficiency.
Working with PyTorch, C, C++, and Python to implement and optimize deep learning algorithms.
Collaborating with your team to develop detailed documentation for each of your projects.
Identifying and resolving technical challenges and issues related to hardware accelerators and deep learning algorithms.
Participating in team meetings and contributing to the overall success of the projects.
Learning Outcomes
During your internship, you will gain valuable experience in the field of deep learning and computer engineering, developing a strong understanding of the importance of collaboration, optimization, and documentation in this field.
QualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
Understanding of hardware accelerators and their role in deep learning.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
