This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Software (LAMP) Developer, you will be responsible for:

Collaborating with multiple engineering and manufacturing personnel to provide secure and efficient intranet web / database development, design, coding, testing, debugging, and administration solutions for complex manufacturing processes and equipment integration.  

The applicant should be a self- driven engineer who enjoys hands on developing and experimentation to provide methods and equipment in both laboratory and integrated design team environments. 

This is an on-site position with hybrid work opportunities. Minimal travel may be required for training and/or visiting other Siemens MI locations.

Application design utilizing web interface, data acquisition, display, and reporting methods.Optimizing and deploying applications for maximum speed and scalability into a production environment.Experience in Linux system administration. Adherence to formal technical and regulatory documentation practices required for medical device manufacturing. (Examples: Software Validation Plans / Results, Process Instructions, Etc.)Methodical troubleshooting and analysis techniques to resolve application and system issues. Attending team design meetings to understand and provide feedback relative to area of responsibility.Translating operational requirements and specifications into user methods and processes.

Required skills to have for the success of this role.

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or equivalent discipline. Extensive technical knowledge and related experience (7+ years) in development, implementation, and support of LAMP stack systems. Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.Software versioning tools such as CVS or Git.Networking protocols and communication formats such as TCP/IP, Client / Server communications: HTTP(s), JSON, XML, SSH, etc.Experience using relational databases such as MySQL.Experience in Linux system administration.Proficient planning and execution within development cycles and schedules.Excellent communication skills allowing cross departmental interaction with various levels and disciplines.
