This role will be responsible for supervising and developing a team of software engineers on activities and the completion of the activities on time and budget. The software group is responsible for the design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems. The position must also have the ability to complete a technical project independently and to mentor and/or coach other engineers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with software that runs on hardware.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

•\tBachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience•\tDemonstrated people and technical leadership capabilities•\tExperience working on software that runs on hardware•\tProven Computer Science fundamentals in embedded development, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis•\tExperience in one of the following: C, C++, C# and/or Java•\tExperience taking a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers•\tExperience influencing software engineering best practices within the team•\tExcellent analytical and communication skills, written and verbal•\tStrong mentor of peers and subordinates•\tExperience with Linux/Unix is preferred•\tAbility to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance is required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $155000.00 - $170000.00

The Schedule with be a Hybrid work schedule and work a 9/80 Schedule
You will be leading a team of at least 6 software engineers.

Workplace Type

This is a hybrid position in Bridgeton,MO.
