Software Product Owner
What We Need: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Software Product Owner to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and the development team. You will translate business needs into actionable user stories, manage the product backlog, and ensure successful product delivery. Your strong communication and leadership skills will be essential in driving collaboration and achieving product goals. What You'll Be Doing: + Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of user needs and expectations. + Product Backlog Management: Create and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories based on business value and strategic goals. Ensure the backlog is transparent and accessible to all stakeholders. + Sprint Planning & Execution: Lead sprint planning sessions, defining sprint goals and selecting backlog items for development. Monitor sprint progress and facilitate any necessary adjustments to ensure on-time delivery. + Requirements Management: Elicit and document detailed functional and non-functional software requirements. Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories that the development team can readily implement. + User Acceptance Testing: Define and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) procedures. Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct UAT and validate that the delivered product meets business requirements. What You Will Need To Be Successful: + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing or related field + 3-5 years of experience working as a product owner or similar role + A solid understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and tools. Familiarity with agile development practices is highly preferred + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders About Us: Who we are:Brady makes products that make the world a safer and more productive place.
