Purpose of the role

To take ownership and deliver exciting new software development projects. You will be focused on ensuring that all Engineering deliverables are released on time and quality aligns with expectations. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that assigned programs are a success and run smoothly. You will be expected to own project schedules, manage stakeholders, overview risk management and execute change control.

You will work within the Engineering PMO function and will be supported by local and remote Product Owners, Development Managers and QA. You will responsible for  successfully delivering software development projects.

 

Key responsibilities

To focus on large programs of work and ensure they are fully controlled. Collaborate with Development Managers, Product Management, Performance testers, technical writers, and the QA team.   Responsible for continuously improving the quality of our software as performance and efficiency are key customer values Oversight and ownership of software development Programs. Produce status reports for senior stakeholders. Identify/manage program risks and issues. When required, escalate to senior stakeholders. Produce and maintain project schedules. Ensure that all Jira tickets are updated in a timely manner. Interface with Product Management to ensure that deliverables align with requirements and deliverable dates are understood. Ensure that any changes to requirements or the schedule are communicated and managed via change control.
