What You Will Do:
As a SW Project Lead at Harman, you are responsible for successfully running the Software part of our Telematic Projects and ensure project deliveries in time, budget and quality. You are the face to the customer for all SW topics. You are orchestrating the virtual, cross functional, global SW project team.
Deliver next-generation Telematic Units to the customerServe as the face to the customer for all SW related topicsOrchestrate virtual, cross functional, global project teams.Assure that all software project team members understand the product, understand their roles in the project organization and accept their responsibilities.Define and establish software project management process and development lifecycle activities derived from HARMAN standard process considering project specific constraints and stakeholder needs.Establish communication and synchronization with global cross functional teams involved in the project on a regular base.Plan, monitor, control and track the software project to achieve the goals with respect to schedule, effort, product quality and process quality in a timely manner.Provide SW program status updates on a regular base. Represent the program internally and externally to senior management (Director level and above) during program, quality, and operations reviews.Ensure project deliveries in time, budget and quality by following the project specifications.Contribute in requirements analysis during and after RFQ phase e.g. identification of technical constraints, needed licenses etc.Define and establish planning guidelines and priorities for SW development.Manage change of software project goals (internal Change Control Boards)Prepare Software Project Management Plan and obtain approval from program management and line management of involved departments.Create and update software project milestone schedule, synchronized with program management, customer, and suppliers.Identify SW development work products, plan and monitor their regular release within SW Maturity Gate according to the defined software development lifecycle.Identify and monitor project and process risks within scope of software project management and establish risk mitigation and contingency plans.Arbitrate and resolve conflict and interface problems affecting progress of software project.Perform regular lessons learned and ensure defined software development processes are continuously improved.What You Need:

University degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology) or Business Administration or appropriate graduationCertified Project Management Professional (e.g. PMP )Automotive experienceProjects implemented with Automotive ASPICE Level 3Experience in real-time embedded software and system developmentManagement experience with 25+ peopleEligibility Requirements:
