RESPONSIBILITIES:

ï‚· A champion for quality: own and drive the overall end-to-end quality for a product

ï‚· Influences engineering designs and solutions to ensure quality and testability of products and services

ï‚· Helps define overall test strategy and plan with emphasis on automating as much as possible

ï‚· Creates automated tests for APIs and Web User Interfaces with reusability in mind

ï‚· Reads code to troubleshoot and isolate defects

ï‚· Work closely with Development Engineers to build-in quality during development, including actively 

driving increased code and test coverage

ï‚· Provides proactive guidance during all stages of development lifecycle influencing specific project 

outcomes with the goal of defect prevention

QUALIFICATIONS:

ï‚· BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

ï‚· 3+ years experience in fast-paced software development

ï‚· Experience in test automation. Create/maintain/execute automated test APIs. Apply automation 

throughout the SDLC to drive efficiencies.

ï‚· Experience testing Web User Interfaces

ï‚· Web Services experience: XML, SOAP and REST

ï‚· Practical knowledge with SQL

ï‚· Whitebox testing experience

ï‚· Familiarity with Linux environment

ï‚· Must have great analytical and troubleshooting skills

ï‚· Solid software engineering skills: Object Oriented Design and Programming

ï‚· Familiarity with Agile Development: Creating Test Plan and Tests in lock-step with development

ï‚· Excellent written and communication skills

PLUS SKILLS:

ï‚· Robot Framework Automation and/or Selenium/Webdriver/Webdriver.io

ï‚· Working experience with Apache web server and JBoss application server

ï‚· Java, Python, or JavaScript development

ï‚· Experience with large scale, high volume web-based transactions

ï‚· Performance testing with JMeter

ï‚· Familiarity with HTTP and web technologies

ï‚· Security testing

ï‚· Automation framework creation and extension development
