ABOUT THE POSITION
The Software Quality Assurance Automation/Manual Tester is responsible for the planning and execution of automated and manual software testing activities within the Technology Enablement Software Engineering team. Primary tasks include drafting test plans, executing test cases, identifying and documenting bugs. You’ll play a significant role in the software development process to ensure quality, efficiency and optimal performance of the software product before it reaches the end-user.
Hiring Salary Range - $65,000 - $80,000 and the final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, and experience.
Location: Orlando, FL
Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Responsibilities
Works with SQA Manager to define an automated test strategy, tools, processes, and timelines for quality assurance of new and existing projects and products.Creates, maintains, and runs automated scripts used for regression, load, and stress testing efforts.Creates, maintains, and runs manual test scripts used for integration and end to end testing efforts.Works with SQA Manager to ensure business requirements and/or feature documents are clear, concise, traceable, and testable.Executes test plans, documents result and engages team to address issues.Keeps up to date with and implements industry best practices.Skills and Attributes
Hands on experience with UFT One or similar automation testing softwareHands on experience with JMeter or similar load/stress testing softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills Highly motivated, energetic, thorough, detail oriented, and able to multi–taskUnderstanding of industry-specific quality assurance requirements and regulationsExperience writing SQA documentation (test plans, test cases and defect reports.In depth knowledge of testing concepts, phases, and types of testingExtensive experience developing and executing test scripts and test cases at the required level of detail for each project/feature request.Qualifications
2+ years of automation experience using UFT One or similar automation testing software1+ years of Load/stress testing experience with JMeter or similar open-source toolProficiency in at least one scripting language (JavaScript, PHP, Python, Ruby, etc.)BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent disciplineWe are VHB!
