Our client, a cutting-edge medical technology company, is pioneering next-generation personal health monitoring devices. They’re looking for a Software QA Engineer to join their QA team and help test complex embedded systems that involve radio technologies like LTE, ultra-wideband, and Bluetooth. This is a full-time, on-site position in Ivyland Pennsylvania.

This is your chance to work on groundbreaking wearable medical technology in an environment where hardware meets software. Unlike most software QA roles, this position allows you to get hands-on with physical devices, helping to build and refine testing processes for both manual and automated validation. You’ll work in a tight-knit QA team of four, collaborating with engineers and developers to troubleshoot real-world hardware and firmware challenges. Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of experience testing hardware and firmware Strong background in manual and automated testing for embedded systems Experience testing radio technologies (LTE, ultra-wideband, Bluetooth) Hands-on troubleshooting experience with hardware failures and device state analysis Proficiency in Wireshark for analyzing network and device communication Strong understanding of device-to-device communication protocols Desired Skills & Experience Familiarity with MATLAB (nice to have, but not required) Experience working with medical devices or IoT platforms Knowledge of version control and defect tracking tools (e.g., Bitbucket, JIRA) Exposure to predictive testing and automation scripting (Python preferred) What You Will Be Doing
