Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Thomasville, GA. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for implementing and executing full software/systems development quality assurance best practices. Working alongside IT and business teams, this role is instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Job Location: Thomasville, GA

Essential functions:

Create, document, implement, maintain, and perform a comprehensive test strategy in a dynamic, agile environment Implement test scripts, record actual results, and identify defects Triage, troubleshoot, and report software defects Provide status reports on testing results Document the testing process Coordinate and oversee User Acceptance Testing from business users and stakeholders Identify the necessary software changes needed to correct system defects Work with the Project Manager to prioritize system defects Work with the development team to identify the source of defects and software failures Develop and maintain regression testing plans to be used in future release testing cycles Provides training/knowledge transfer to other IT staff on QA process and artifacts

Technical Skills:

In depth knowledge of state-of-the-art web programming design, coding, testing, and debugging Demonstrated experience with testing of web applications developed using the following: HTML/HTML5 CSS Angular JavaScript JQuery .NET Core Microsoft SQL C# JSON Knowledge and experience testing a web-based application across multiple browsers and devices Knowledge and experience testing non-browser-based applications Proven experience testing on an agile team Experience leveraging tracking tools to document, analyze, and manage defects Capable of coaching stakeholders on aspects of software quality assurance Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages Software testing certification would be a plus Experience in multiple technical environments Knowledge of computer programming, systems analysis, and design principles and practices Possesses knowledge of web development technologies (e.g., .NET, Visual Studio, etc…) Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge

Basic Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field from four-year College or University.

Experience: 3+ years of IT work experience in software quality assurance development and testing in an online environment.

Physical Skill & Effort: Work requires a few simple, but rapid, hand operations, and simple, easy muscular movements.

Working Conditions and Hazards: Normal plant, shop, field, or office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features.
