**About the job:** Red Hat OpenShift is looking for a Software Quality Engineer in Over the Air Updates. In this role, you will work on Red Hat’s OpenShift Container Platform product, you will collaborate with our talented engineers to create a streamlined, smooth, reliable cluster update experience. Your continuous growth will be ensured by extensive learning opportunities, including Red Hat Learning modules and certifications as well as Red Hat University (RHU) courses. **What will you do?** + Design test scenarios and test plans, execute manual and automated testing according to product release schedule. + Ensure product quality by providing feedback to design, discovering defects in testing, validating bug fixes. + Automate tests and workflows using Golang, Python, Bash, etc, and integrate them to CI. + Provide constructive feedback to improve our processes, workflows. + Understand business priorities and customer perspectives, leverage them in your decision making in test planning. + Participate in scrum meetings,communicate outcomes, next actions and potential risks. + Work in a global team, embrace diversity and culture differences. **What will you bring?** + 3+ years experience as a Software Quality Engineer. + Proficient in one or more object oriented programming languages, Golang/Python preferred. + Proficient in Linux administration and Bash programming. + Hands on experience building CI/CD pipelines, experience in Prow is a plus + Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, experience with OpenShift is a plus. + Experienced with Git, Github or Gitlab. + Fluent written and verbal English. + Self-driven and goal-oriented, have a track record of owning things from end to end. **About Red Hat** Red Hat (https://www.redhat.com/) is the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source (https://www.redhat.com/en/about/open-source) software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
