Pixar Animation Studios Software R&D Department is accepting resumes for our Summer 2025 internships at our Emeryville, CA location in the following areas: **SOFTWARE ENGINEER INTERN, FOUNDATION TEAM** supports Pixar’s artists across the production pipeline, both in content creation and software development, building tools that increase productivity and artistic reach. Engineers on Foundation Teams build software in a wide variety of domains: + Production management (Web, JavaScript/Vue/React) + Media browsing and playback (Python, Linux/MacOS) + Story & editorial departments (Python/C++/Swift, MacOS/iOS) + Production asset management (Python/C++, Linux) + Configuration/release engineering (Python, Linux/MacOS/Windows) + Quality assurance (Python, Linux/MacOS/Windows) **Qualifications:** + Currently enrolled in university program studying computer science, computer graphics or other area of relevant study. Areas of focus are the following: + Machine Learning + Rendering (Physically Based and Stylized) + Physical Simulation (flesh, cloth, fluids, etc.) + Geometry Processing **Qualifications:** + Currently enrolled in MS or PhD program in computer science, computer graphics or other area of relevant study.
