**Position:** Software Sales Engineer (w/m/d)
**Reporting to:** Director of Sales Operations
The Software Sales Engineer (w/m/d) will play an integral role by preparing and delivering technical presentations of our services to existing customers and new customers by supporting sales expansion in the DACH region - with a primary focus on Germany. This role will work with sales leaders to sell the TraceGains platform in the region and will be a key position to drive regional growth. **In this role, a typical day will include:**
• Collaborating with management and sales executives in planning, preparing, and executing strategic deals across the DACH region.
• Successfully matching customer challenges and requirements with proposed solutions.
• Developing proofs of concept by configuring TraceGains core products, including maintaining product demonstration environments.
• Supporting sales executives in preparing materials and demonstrating the TraceGains platform in the food & beverage, nutraceuticals, and retail industries.
• Collaborating with the customer success team to create and execute successful implementation plans.
• Driving the sales process through technical expertise and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses.
• Participating in company webinars, events, and conferences to strengthen TraceGains' presence in DACH.
**Qualifications:**
• BS degree in marketing, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in sales support or SaaS sales
• Proven professional experience as a Software Sales Engineer in a similar field
• Excellent German and English skills (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of the food & beverage industry, nutraceuticals, and retail would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with SaaS solutions; experience with Product Life cycle Management (PLM) solutions for the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry is a plus.
