Job Description SummaryThe Aero Alliance Digital Technology team is seeking experienced Software Application Support professional to support our Custom developed applications using Angular, PostgreSQL and AWS Cloud tools (Full Stack).

This position is ideal for candidates with a passion for customer success, strong technical skills, and a desire to drive innovation in application support. Required qualifications encompass experience in software application program support, debugging, resolving and migrations.

You will either individually or in partnership with the other support team members find, analyze and resolve defects and technical debt. You will also analyze, develop and deliver Product changes (enhancements) meeting the stakeholder requirements, while retaining the quality and technical integrity of the product.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Triage and resolve issues spanning various aspects of our software solutions, including configuration, database and associated objects, user interface, data management, visualization, analytics, and integration with other enterprise systems.Apply general business knowledge acquired through education, on the job or prior experience to analyze user provided problem, determine root causes and provide resolutions.Resolve issues using established procedures/tools, leveraging your system knowledge, learning about the business processes, using lean features where needed and seeking guidance from senior team members.Understand whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or module.Articulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing.Work independently, Learns/applies new technologies when required.Work on tasks/activities as assigned by supervisor.Collaborate with Software users and other DT team members globally providing them with enhancements and bug fixes, while adhering to the programming, security and compliance standards.

​ Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields from an accredited institution.At least three years of experience in programming and software development of a global product, using Angular and Spring Boot components at a medium level.Strong expertise in working with RDBMS, particularly Postgres, including writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning.Experience with Continuous Delivery (CD) tools like Jenkins.Experience in microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.

Desired Characteristics:

At least three years of experience in supporting and/or developing software applications in AWS Cloud especially with tools like Lamda and SQS.Aware of design principles, design patterns, and debugging techniques.Aware of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etcDemonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problemsSkilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating effortsHas the ability to analyze impact of technology choicesInfluences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas. Pre-emptively sees downstream consequences and effectively tailors influencing strategy to support a positive outcome.Able to verbalize what is behind decisions and downstream implications. Continuously reflecting on success and failures to improve performance and decision-making.Understands when change is neededProactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analysis skills and best practices.
