Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a Software Support Specialist to join our GALE (Generic Area Limitation Environment) Support Team. This role will directly support customer engineers integrating the software into a larger suite, providing assistance and training to users of the software, relaying customer issues back to the development team, and documentation of software features. This position will be based out of San Diego, CA and will report on-site daily (no remote flexibility) What you will do Support efforts integrating GALE into a larger suite of tools Test and verify integrated software functionality Document issues and communicate them to the development team Interact with users and provide instruction on software features Update system documentation What you need to have 6 years experience or junior candidate with 6 - 10yr enlistment level of experience. Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI Windows Administrator experience, no Active Directory or Group Policy stuff, but a good understanding of services, event logging, and powershell Good Communication Skills, you will be remote from the rest of the team and working directly with customers Technical Writing, documenting software functions for specific use cases and problem reports What we'd like you to have GALE Experience Familiarity with CMF/IBS Elasticsearch experience Ansible experience Basic Python experience About BigBear.ai BigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
