What role will you play?Electromobility is one of the growth markets with significant influence on the mobility but also the energy market. As a major player in the energy market, Siemens intends to take a leading position in this growth market. Within our team you have the opportunity to work in a start-up-like environment and to take responsibility in flat hierarchies. On the other hand, you benefit from the support of a large corporation when it comes to actually implementing your own ideas.
The challenge is to lead, motivate, and mentor a R&D Software team to achieve individual and collective goals. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide feedback, set expectations, and discuss career growth. Identify and address training and development needs to enhance team skillsets.
Performance Management:
Set clear objectives, performance metrics, and deliverables for team members.Monitor and evaluate performance through periodic reviews and constructive feedback.Recognize and reward achievements while addressing underperformance promptly.Strategic Planning & Execution:Collaborate with senior leadership to align team objectives with organizational strategy.Manage workflows, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines.Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.Communication & Collaboration:Act as the primary point of contact between the team and other departments/stakeholders.Facilitate regular team meetings to share updates, resolve issues, and encourage open communication.Build and maintain positive relationships within and outside the team.Conflict Resolution:Address interpersonal or work-related conflicts within the team with empathy and fairness.Promote a positive and inclusive team culture that values diversity and mutual respect.
Operational Oversight:
Track team productivity and ensure high-quality output.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.Prepare reports and provide insights to leadership on team performance and project progress.
We are looking for:BE / B.Tech / MCA or equivalentStrong interpersonal & communication skills, esp. in EnglishProven experience in a leadership or management role.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.International collaboration & leadership skillsMulti-year team building experienceGood understanding of Agile development practicesExposure to Product Lifecycle ManagementDrive and motivation towards gaining business success with alignment of Product Management team
