Works in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)-driven organizational framework
Provides testing expertise for a major web-based systems project that includes new Medical Assistance (Medicaid and FAMIS) program(s)
Conversion of programs from legacy systems, and migration of Department of Social Services Programs such as Medical Assistance (Medicaid and FAMIS).
Responsible for reviewing use cases, design documents, business requirements, etc., developing test scripts, testing, documenting defects through Rational CQ, documenting test scripts
Experience in testing conversion from a legacy system to a web-based application
Review and analyze technical requirements, design documentation and use cases to gain a thorough understanding of project scope.
Develop and maintain user acceptance test (UAT) scripts using approved test script template; script checklist, spreadsheet of scripts and documentation, meeting script writing goal per day.
Perform UAT testing based on documented scripts to ensure compliance with business rules, requirements, design documents, reports, system processes and meeting scenario/script testing goals per day.
Ability to determine system defects based on expected outcome of testing performed.
Ability to explain the process performed that resulted in defect(s).
Document defects in ClearQuest following CQ process and include documentation of test results for developer to review.
