Software Test Automation Engineer
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer with 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GUI automation using Ranorex or Selenium and will be responsible for maintaining and running automated tests on our test systems. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Ranorex or Selenium. • Maintain test systems, including PCs that represent the system environment, ensuring Ranorex is installed and operational on all machines. • Queue up and execute automation tests across multiple PCs. • Troubleshoot and resolve test failures, addressing instability in test development. • Perform both automated and manual testing as needed. • Transition manual tests to automated tests and maintain the automation framework. • Identify tests ready for automation and implement them. • Maintain automation software and handle software installations. • Test the application GUI on PCs running the system, ensuring functionality and performance. • Collaborate with the development team to ensure high-quality software releases. Qualifications: • 5 years of experience in test automation. • Proficiency in GUI automation tools such as Ranorex or Selenium. • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices. • Experience with maintaining test systems and running tests on physical PCs. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve test failures. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience with Edison and Ranorex. • Familiarity with software installation and maintenance. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
