Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems through comprehensive testing and fault analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test cases, coordinate test activities, and provide critical feedback on test results. In this role, you will be responsible for developing test methods and creating test cases using SystemWeaver and vTestStudio, ensuring all work is delivered according to specified criteria and definitions. Your duties will include writing test requirements, planning, and coordinating test activities in collaboration with the team. Additionally, you will create fault reports and assign them to the appropriate recipients to facilitate investigations and resolutions. You will also review and communicate supplier test reports and results, providing clear feedback and recommendations. Moreover, you will independently perform fault tracing, logging, and measurements on components, actuators, and signals.

QualificationsB.Sc. in Electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar5 years experience in software testing within the automotive industryExperience with automotive test tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, 

Strong experience in automotive diagnostics, familiarity with diagnostic protocol UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services). 

Strong understanding of communication protocols such as CAN, LIN and Ethernet 

Knowledge about safety critical systems and standards, such as ISO26262

Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using languages like Python or CAPL. 

Valid Swedish Driving license  

Excellent English language communication skills (both written and spoken)

Knowledge with ISO21434 is highly meritorious!

Deeper knowledge in the different ASPICE layers are highly meritorious.
