About the role:
The Software Test Intern works in collaboration with the R&D Engineering team to design cutting-edge medical devices through testing and create various technical documents.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using LabVIEW and Python. Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement test plans for new and existing products. Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects. Document test procedures, results, and any issues encountered during testing. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve test automation processes. Support the continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and tools. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking tools like JIRA.
Required qualifications:
Undergraduate (or working towards) degree in electrical/biomedical engineering or a relevant field Basic knowledge of LabVIEW programming and experience with NI hardware. Understanding of software development and testing methodologies. An analytical and quantitative approach to work, as well as the confidence to influence people at all levels. Excellent organizational, communication and collaboration skills. Strong documentation skills.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with other programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of hardware testing and instrumentation.

Qualifications requises
Diplômé de premier cycle candidat à un diplôme en génie ou dans un domaine connexe. Connaissance de base de la programmation LabVIEW et expérience avec le matériel NI.
