Description The autonomous test engineer will be responsible for helping create and maintain an automated test environment for HVAC equipment that will be used to test controls functionality in virtual geographic environments. This role requires the ability to work effectively with HVAC hardware and software development, software test and product development. This role also requires the ability to analyze HVAC data using different data analysis tools. A background in HVAC applications is welcomed and preferred and will help resource to be successful. This role will be 80%-90% manual testing and 20% Automated testing. The team is moving towards automation testing so please make sure that your candidates are ok with manual testing. This team works on the Residential side of Trane building software development on thermostats.
