Responsibilities:
Review estimator proposals for accuracyReview construction drawings for constructability, planning, and forecastingMonitor jobs dailyOversee construction efforts to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and scheduleOrganize job schedulesPurchase and track materials as needed for continuous operations of the projectOrder on-site testing from engineering services per project demandsSchedule meetings with clients and subcontractorsEnforce company policy and standardsEnsure timesheets are filled out daily and correctlyManage construction schedule for projects and employeesMonitor and secure materials on jobs dailyOversee that rough and final inspections are called in and passedNegotiate and purchase large ordersSecure long lead time items to ensure delivery so jobs and workflows are not interruptedEnsure all crews have the equipment necessary to complete jobs dailySchedule and coordinate cranes and material deliveriesQualificaitions:
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction managementExperience in solar constructionProficiency in AutodeskKnowledge of project managementExperience in solar installationUnderstanding of electrical systemsStrong construction management skillsCommitment to safetyAbility to manage schedulesExperience with proposals, budgeting, and materials managementHigh school degree or equivalent preferredExperience managing multiple projects at onceEmployer value:
Projects range from 60KW to 2MW in size. This is a full-time onsite position. Employees must work in a safe and professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, State, and Federal regulations. Employees will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing upon reasonable suspicion or any other regulatory requirement. The company is a dog-friendly environment.
