Solar Construction Project Engineer
Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for QA/QC, tracking apprentice and certified payroll reports, project reports, inventory management, quantity tracking, site photos, and additional responsibilities assigned by the PMs and GEM Energy Management Team. The role involves traveling to various project sites across Illinois to kick off the construction process and conduct weekly SWPP inspections.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position.

Work Environment

On-site project engineer for community solar projects across the state of Illinois. You will be working on 8-10 projects over the next 2-3 years. Initial training will take place in Walbridge, Ohio at the headquarters for the first two weeks. The consultant will travel to different job sites in Illinois (550th, Highway 45, Bandyville, Omaha) in the first 2-3 months to initiate the construction process and perform weekly SWPP inspections.
