Activities ResponsibilitiesPartner with Asset Management and O&M teams to ensure solar asset accounting is timely and accurate Oversee monthly and annual closing processes for assigned entities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and support the reporting requirements as necessary.Develop and implement the budget to actual analysis for each asset and other reporting as requested by the partners (where relevant), and work with Asset Manager to ensure variances are understood and action plans are put in place to address where necessaryHold a working knowledge of each entity’s business operations and act as a key Finance Department contact for the project companies.Define and rollout efficient project finance and accounting processes to manage solar assets in operations including the process documentation to transition finance and accounting activities on assets moving from construction to operations seamlessly.Ensure any intercompany transactions are tracked and develop monthly reconciliation templates for elimination and consolidationEnsure all payment obligations and commitments are properly recorded and maintained for all assigned solar assets in operation Coordinate the recurring meetings with Asset Management and O&M teams to discuss portfolio status, review of receivables and commitments and cash flow across the assetsAssist FP&A and Asset Management in the preparation of the annual budget and annual long-term processes for the assets Manage relationship with Treasury on cash management, debt payments, partnership distributions and ad hoc requests; responsible for providing Treasury with cash projectionsProvide leadership and guidance to other solar business analysts as necessary
Accountabilities The Lead Solar Operations Business Analyst is responsible for the seamless and professional delivery of project level finance activities for a portfolio of assets. They will ensure the general ledger for each entity is correctly reflective of all transactions and track and control the payment and revenue streams for each asset. Candidate Profile Qualifications and Experience RequiredMinimum 5 years accounting experience required Bachelor’s Degree in accounting Strong accounting and financial reporting skills Expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Deadline driven and ability to plan to ensure smooth close processes Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated Additional Information TotalEnergies values diversity, promotes individual growth and offers equal opportunity careers.
