Key Responsibilities Complete corrective and preventive maintenance within time frames, budgets and to OEM standards. Replace battery system for UPS and Lighting Inverter systems every five years Diagnose and troubleshoot PV system malfunctions and operational issues Diagnose, troubleshoot and replace defective electronic components Perform thermal imaging Prepare maintenance reports Perform condition assessments assess inventories as required Performs other related duties as assigned Essential Skills Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control Maintain accurate maintenance records and note in EMI's CMMS Maintain all project documentation, permits, AHAs, OEM manuals, and maintenance history Communicate with project management office for upcoming maintenance PRACTICES WORKPLACE SAFETY in the use of tools, equipment, and supplies. Including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
EMI Services is hiring a Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Technicians responsible for preventive maintenance (PM) on Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS) and on Lighting Inverter systems, and performs PM and corrective maintenance (CM) on Photovoltaic systems. May also cover the installation of PV systems but focuses on the maintenance of all PV systems to ensure successful operating. The ideal EMI Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Technician has an electrical background and experience working on Solar Photovoltaic systems, and inverters.
Salary$40.00 to $60.00/ hr. depending on experience and certifications plus $4.57 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401k!
