About the Role:
Essel is seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Superintendent to lead our solar project installations. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of solar energy systems, project management, and team leadership. As a Solar Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering projects on time while meeting quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems from start to finish, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to deadlines. Oversee a team of electricians, technicians, and subcontractors, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. Review project plans, specifications, and schedules, making adjustments as necessary to ensure efficient operations. Develop and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and vendors. Enforce health and safety protocols on the job site, conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring compliance with all regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify any issues that may impact project timelines or quality. Coordinate with the procurement team for timely delivery of materials and equipment required for installations. Troubleshoot and resolve any onsite challenges promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring project continuity. Ensure proper documentation of all installed systems, including as-built drawings and compliance reports.
