About this opportunity:

Our team provides system administration support for multiple Telecom service provider across the globe. We provide support for Linux, Solaris, AIX operation system, Automation of activities through Ansible/Shell scripts, Dockers, Kubernetes, OpenShift and other associated public cloud technologies.

 

What you will do:

You will be part of System admin team supporting single/multiple telecom service provider for Solaris activities.

Your role will be to ensure high uptime and working of technical environment.

Need to work with multiple internal and external teams to perform the work.

Should be flexible to work as per the work requirement.

Should learn new technology and keep updated as per the changes in technologies.

Should share achievements and knowledge to help others and address others' need

 

 

The skills you bring:

5+ years of relevant Solaris administration experience working in a medium to large complex highly process oriented global IT infra environment.

Excellent Knowledge on Solaris 10/11 administration, Performance tuning, Capacity Planning, and troubleshooting.

Experience in Security best practices and vulnerability assessment.

Experience in Filesystem management, ACLs, and File/Directory Permissions.

Experienced in management of SVM/ZFS/UFS/VXVM.

Experienced in administrating of Zones both global and local zones.

Good understanding of LDOMS and CDOM.

Experienced in Patch management with Solaris OS live upgrade and firmware update.

Good understanding of IPMP/Network Configuration, SSH, telnet, ftp/sftp and provide user level, NFS server and SAN configuration which involves scanning LUN’s

Experienced in Veritas/Sun cluster & Volume manager installation and administration.

Provide the root cause analysis on the major incidents/problems

Experience in shell scripting or Ansible playbook automation.

Knowledge on scheduling backups & recovery

Knowledge of ITIL Process like Incident, Change, Problem and Capacity management.

Experience in making technical documentation like SOPs, LLD/HLD, operation and KT planning
