**Job Posting: Soldering Technician - Circuit Boards** **Location:** Oldsmar, Florida **Shift Differentials:** + $1 differential for 2nd shift + $4 differential for weekend shift **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated Soldering Technician to assist in the production of on-time, quality deliveries to our customers. The ideal candidate will be precise, detailed, and meticulous in their work. **Responsibilities:** + Check foot straps for ESD compliance as needed. + Follow ISO process sheets for operations. + Adhere to all quality and safety guidelines. + Participate in performance feedback. + Use tools such as tweezers, solder extractor, solder iron, hot air pencil, and hot air reflow. + Be knowledgeable of rework aids: solder braid, flux, flux-core solder, solder paste, isopropyl alcohol. + Keep records in the Aegis system, including parts tracking, defect locations, and specific issues with the boards. + Enter scrap information into Aegis. + Perform visual inspection procedures to ensure quality at various stages of production. + Lift bins of assemblies as required. + Support and adhere to our safety, quality, and 5S policies and procedures. + Communicate with the respective supervisor. + Pull up product documentation in Aegis. + Interpret Kimball/customer specifications and requirements per Aegis. + Communicate findings/quality issues to production staff/supervisor. + Perform NPI 1st Article Inspection activities. + Work to meet production and quality department goals. + Perform additional duties as assigned. **Skills:** + Soldering + PCB assembly + Printed circuit board + Electronic assembly + Schematic + Surface mount (SMT) + Electronics **Top Skills Details:** + Soldering + PCB assembly + Printed circuit board + Solder **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + Knowledge of quality procedures. + Previous electronic manufacturing experience is a plus. + Ability to read and follow production processes. + Ability to keep department records as needed. + Willingness to cross-train into other production positions with different technical or physical requirements. + Ability to successfully complete position certification courses. + IPC Standards knowledge. + ESD knowledge. + Basic computer skills. + Detail-oriented. + Ability to understand and follow safety policies. + Ability to successfully complete solder certification and position certification. + Ability to read and understand customer documentation. + Organized, promoting good housekeeping efforts. **Experience Level:** Entry Level If you are detail-oriented and have a passion for electronics, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity! **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
