**Job Title: Solderer** **Job Description** We are looking for a skilled Solderer to join our team. You will be responsible for parts preparation, inserting components into printed wiring boards, electrical testing, electro-mechanical assembly, hand soldering, resistance welding, and cleaning components. Additionally, you will mark finished assemblies using a laser marker, follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards, and perform additional tasks as assigned. **Responsibilities** + Prepare parts by cutting and forming component leads using manual and/or automatic equipment. + Insert components into printed wiring boards. + Perform electrical testing of individual components and finished goods. + Assemble electro-mechanical modules using various hand tools, such as cutters and pliers. + Hand solder assemblies. + Conduct resistance welding of assemblies. + Clean components and finished goods using isopropyl alcohol. + Mark finished assemblies using a laser marker. + Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in the work area. + Perform additional tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of soldering experience. + Ability to sit or stand for 8-10 hours per day. + Ability to read and interpret work instructions. + Good manual dexterity. + Previous experience in electronic assembly and hand soldering. + Ability to read diagrams and work instructions in English. + Follow written and verbal instructions and communicate well in English. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or G.E.D. + Previous board stuffing and/or soldering experience. **Why Work Here?** Our major customers are in the telecommunications, consumer electronics, computing, industrial, medical, and aerospace/military markets, and our products are sold worldwide both to OEM and Electronic Distributors. The schedule is Monday-Thursday from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm. Our products include transient voltage suppressor arrays, avalanche breakdown diodes, steering diode TVS arrays, PPTC devices, and electronics SMD chip fuses, providing protection against various electronic system hazards. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, Arizona. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
