**Job Title: Solderer Assembler**
**Job Description**
The Electronic Assembler is responsible for soldering components of PC Boards using mostly Thru-hole method soldering. You will work with magnifying glasses and microscopes to perform precise soldering of components. Additionally, you will assemble, test, and modify custom electronic parts, systems, and assemblies. This role requires reading and interpreting instructions, using various parts and tools, and fitting electronic components together. Some assemblies may require the use of adhesives and epoxies.
**Responsibilities**
+ Solder components of PC Boards using Thru-hole method soldering.
+ Work with magnifying glass and microscope for detailed soldering tasks.
+ Assemble, test, and modify custom electronic parts, systems, and assemblies.
+ Read and interpret instructions for assembling electronic components.
+ Use a variety of hand tools and parts for assembly tasks.
+ Fit and solder parts together.
+ Use adhesives and epoxies as required for assemblies.
**Essential Skills**
+ 6+ months of circuit board soldering experience (SMT or Thru-hole).
+ Ability to use small hand tools and operate some machines.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Previous soldering certification.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with electronic assembly.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools.
+ Skill in wire stripping and inspection.
+ Knowledge of blueprints and electronic assembly processes.

**Work Environment**
This role is performed in a climate-controlled environment. Contractors have the option to sit on a taller stool or stand while performing assembly tasks. The work environment is very clean, organized, and quiet, with about 15-20 people in the shop. The first shift runs from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. Overtime is occasionally required but not usually.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stacy, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
