**Job Title: Solder Assembler I**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Assembler I to join our team. The Assembler II will be responsible for reading drawing and electrical wiring diagrams, assembling components into a complete product using point-to-point wiring instructions, and soldering electrical components as per the drawings. This role also includes training Level I and II cable assemblers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret shop drawings, job order travelers, and job order traveler pick lists.
+ Join components into a whole product using point-to-point wiring instructions.
+ Assemble and solder electrical components as per drawings.
+ Build to assembly standards in terms of quantity and quality.
+ Use hand tools and power tools.
+ Follow written and oral instructions.
+ Repair and rework assemblies as required.
+ Work at different workstations as production needs require or shift from one station to another during the assembly process.
+ Follow and adhere to all company and departmental procedures and policies.
+ Maintain a safe and clean work environment, which may require sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
+ Communicate with managers, peers, and subordinates on a routine basis.
+ Timely and accurately complete documentation and electronically record work in Floor Manager.
+ Promptly report to the supervisor all observations that are relevant to ensure a safe and efficient operation in the department.
+ Use good judgment in performing tasks correctly the first time through.
+ Provide input to help improve the performance of the department.
+ Maintain a good attendance record to timely complete work assignments.
+ Perform tasks while complying with company safety policies.
+ Work overtime when needed.
+ Perform other duties as required.

**Work Environment**
You will work in a dynamic production environment that requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to different workstations as needed. The role involves using various hand tools and power tools. Safety and cleanliness are top priorities, and adherence to company safety policies is mandatory. Overtime work may be required based on production needs.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pacoima, California
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
