Soldering Assembler 2nd Shift

Helpmates is looking for a strong candidate that has experience in soldering, crimping, assembly, and laser machine experience. 
 

Regular Schedule: Monday  - Thursday 2:30 pm - 1:00 am

Overtime Schedule Friday and Saturday 2:30 pm - 1:00 am

Pay Rate: $20/hr. 

Main Duties: 

Soldering

Machine Operator 

Crimping

Cable wire assembly
Operate and control laser marking machines to apply permanent markings on different materials.Set up and adjust laser parameters, including power, speed, and frequency, to achieve optimal marking results.

Monitor and troubleshoot equipment to ensure consistent performance.

 

Quality Assurance:

Inspect marked products to verify the accuracy, clarity, and alignment of laser markings.

Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Implement corrective actions in case of deviations from quality standards.

Data Entry and Documentation:

Input and update product information into laser marking software, including serial numbers, batch numbers, and other relevant data.

Maintain accurate records of laser marking parameters and production logs.

Maintenance and Calibration:

Perform routine maintenance on laser marking equipment to ensure smooth operation.

Calibrate and align laser systems regularly to maintain accuracy and precision.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating laser equipment.

Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with production teams to coordinate efficient workflow and prioritize marking tasks based on production schedules.

Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors regarding equipment status, issues, and improvements.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas for optimizing laser marking procedures.

Stay updated on advancements in laser marking technology and recommend upgrades or new equipment as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in laser technology or related fields are a plus.

Previous experience in operating laser marking equipment in a production environment.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Basic knowledge of materials and their reactions to laser marking processes.

Ability to troubleshoot and address technical issues.

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
