We are seeking an experienced Shipping Solicitor to join our dynamic team at a leading specialist law firm in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maritime law and a proven track record of handling complex shipping-related cases. Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice on a wide range of shipping matters, including ship finance, charterparties, cargo claims, and marine insurance. Manage and resolve shipping disputes through litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to shipping and maritime operations. Represent clients in both domestic and international forums. Collaborate with other solicitors and professionals within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
Essential Requirements:

Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in shipping and maritime law. Strong understanding of international maritime conventions and regulations. Proven ability to handle a diverse caseload with minimal supervision. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience with international clients and cross-border transactions is highly desirable.
