Apply now Save for later RED Global is searching for an IBP Resource in India for their Global Pharma Client - Utilizing IBP system to manage and optimize the supply chain by forecasting demand, allocating production capacity, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing costs, all within the framework of a collaborative planning process across sales, marketing, operations, and finance; essentially acting as a key link between demand forecasting and production scheduling to achieve optimal supply chain efficiency. Key responsibilities of an IBP Supply Planner: Demand Analysis: Analyze sales forecasts and historical data to identify demand trends and potential fluctuations, adjusting supply plans accordingly. Capacity Planning: Assess production capacity constraints and work with manufacturing teams to optimize production schedules to meet demand. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels across the supply chain, identifying and addressing potential stockouts or excess inventory issues. Supply Chain Optimization: Utilize IBP tools to model different supply chain scenarios, identifying cost-saving opportunities and minimizing risks. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to align supply plans with overall business objectives. Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement. Risk Management: Identify potential disruptions in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on delivery timelines. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine supply planning processes to increase efficiency and accuracy within the IBP system.
