Solution Architect
Contract: The New York City Department of Social Services (DSS)
HYBRID - 2 remote/3 in office - Brooklyn, NY 11238 OR Manhattan, OR Queens, Staten Island, OR The Bronx
Long-term contract (3-5 years)
Position starts April 1st
Per Govt Contract Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Must be available for an in-person interview between February 24, 2025, to March 31, 2025
Tasks & Duties
• Develop and implement data architectures and solutions.
• Develop and implement data architectures that meet all the business requirements and industry standards to allow users to see landlord records, allow many-to-many links between landlord records and accounts etc.
• Design and implement data solutions that support business processes and decision-making which will help that will have a streamlined process for the users in requesting for additional documents, disbursing allowances, etc.
• Ensure seamless integration with other DSS systems along with the integration developer for all the related systems.
• Oversee data management practices, including data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management for the property-unit-owner relationship, sync CurRent and POS client, unit and landlord data to maintain better data health and reduce duplicate property/landlord records in the system.
• Optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability for making better payment processing, renewals, claim workflow, etc.
Required Skills
• Minimum 4 Years Experience with System Architecture, Cloud Architecture: Azure and Security Architecture.
• Minimum 4 Years Experience with API design, Integrations and DevOps.
• Minimum 4 Years Experience working with Data management, Data Security, ETL/ELT and Data Integration, Data Analysis, BI tools, Data Pipelines, Data warehousing.
• Minimum 4 Years Experience with Networking topologies, Architecture Modelling tools, Data Modelling & Design
